Hifz ul Qur’an Program
Ar-Raheem Academy’s goal is to produce competent Huffaz and protectors of the Noble Qur’an who can fulfill the responsibilities of teaching the Qur’an, leading congregational prayers, and tarāwīh prayers. We employ a proven method for tahfīz which focuses not just on memorization, but retention.
Our Method
Recitation
Before memorizing a new portion, students must first recite it under supervision to ensure correct tajwīd and pronunciation.
New Lesson (Sabaq Jadīd)
Students memorize new portions based on their ability, gradually increasing as they improve.
Recent Revision (Sabaq Para)
Revision of recently learned portions to move knowledge into long-term memory.
Full Revision (Dawr)
Systematic revision of all previously memorized portions.
Program Levels
Pre-Hifz Class
New students begin here with short-term targets and intensive tajwīd training. Students are assessed before moving to the main Hifz class.
